Struggling with a bit of writers block I turned to Pinterest and Instagram for some inspiration. I came across the topic of 10 things I can’t live without and instantly knew it was my next post.
So here are 10 things I can’t live without:
- My phone
The most obvious one, I’m sure a lot of us would agree with this one. Everything is on my phone, not just social media but important phone numbers too, emails, important dates to remember, my banking app and not forgetting a camera which has now practically replaced my DSLR. What more could I ask for from my phone?
- My morning cuppa
Yes yes yes! The thing I look forward to most in the mornings is my cuppa tea. Besides from letting the dog out to pee and sorting Fletcher and Eden with their apple juice it’s the first thing I do. It’s the only cuppa I have a day and oh my god I enjoy it.
I remember first downloading Instagram back when I had an iPhone 3, I was addicted to it back then and I still am now, even more so now. I am still using the same account however over the years have cleaned up my account a lot so my very first original photos aren’t on there any more, that’s a shame really. Could you imagine the cringe looking back at those! Anyway, I am constantly checking Instagram and I just love reading stories and finding new mom accounts to follow, not to mention I am forever spamming my followers with stories and uploads of Fletcher, Eden and the dog. Oops, sorry not sorry!
As my other always says, I have more pyjamas than I do clothes. That is true, my pyjama drawer is verrrrry full. I just can’t help it, it’s like an addiction. When I go shopping I go straight to the pyjama section and if there’s a cute pair I like, I have to have them. They’re so cosy and comfy and warm. Love love love them.
- Fletcher and Eden
I mean, this goes without saying. It’s a good job this list isn’t in any order or anything putting my babies in 5th. They drive me insane, they are the reason I haven’t slept in almost 4 years but I would be lost without them. Fletcher is my little mommas boy, he’s so sensitive and caring just like me. Eden is my beautiful stroppy little madam, oooh Eden wouldn’t be Eden without 100 tantrums a day and throwing herself on the floor because I won’t let her poke the dogs winky. Seriously, she did that today and the meltdown we had. Yep, that’s my drama queen!
- My family
I have a pretty big helpful family who are always there. I am lucky enough to live in the middle of my parents and my grandparents, we’re just a 10-15 minute walk away from each other which is really nice. There’s always help when I need it and I know I can count on my family. We always see each other every day and video call or message each other. It would be pretty quiet without my family.
- My bed
Who doesn’t love their bed?! That feeling of finally jumping into your bed at the end of the day, it’s like…ahhhh we meet again. I have to leave my bed way earlier than I would like in the mornings but I’m always back in bed by 9pm sometimes 8pm if I am lucky *cough* grandma *cough*. I don’t go to sleep that early by the way, most of the time, I just like to snuggle up in bed and get cosy with my book or the TV, or a new blog post to write.
I’m sure you all know by now I love reading. I always have a pretty decent stash of books waiting to be read. I like to read a chapter or two every night before bed, it helps me to escape from my day and into another world plus it makes me tired and I find I can sleep better after reading.
- Hair straighteners
I would cry if my GHD’s were to pack up. Nobody needs to see this lions mane!
I get this from my mom, yep I am blaming you mother! I love shopping especially for Fletcher and Eden and house stuff. Of course, I like buying new things for myself too but that doesn’t happen often. Absolutely lethal in B&M bargains me.
